Brant OPP are investigating the theft of a pickup truck from a Bethel Road property in Paris.

Sometime between 10 p.m. February 5 and 6 a.m. the following morning, a black 2007 Chevrolet Silverado with a licence plate AS31259 was taken from the driveway.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call Brant OPP at 1-888-310-1122.

Vehicle going double speed limit: OPP

A 32-year-old Mississauga driver has been charged with stunt driving.

A Brant OPP officer conducting speed enforcement just before 6 p.m. on Tuesday, February 6 recorded a vehicle travelling 101 km/h is a posted 50 km/h zone on Puttown Road in Brant County.

The vehicle was stopped and the driver charged with drive motor vehicle – perform stunt – excessive speed, speeding 50+ km/h over posted speed limit, and drive motor vehicle, no currently validated permit.
