HOW TO PLAY: IT’S FUN AND EASY! Use the entry form from the link above or go online to enter your picks in the Fantasy Cup Hockey Challenge.
The contest is FREE to enter, but the real excitement starts when you have full access by playing with a Slap Shot Service Package. By purchasing the Slap Shot Service Package for only $12.95, you will get online access to view your rank daily, and have access to a greater amount of initial trades. Every Entry gets access to trades, but Free entries will Start with 3, and the Slap shot Package starts with 20. Make sure to not leave yourself out of all the action, and get involved with a service package.
In playing Fantasy Cup Hockey Challenge, you pick ONE (1) Player from each of the 16 groups on the entry form. You gain points for Goals and Assists for each player you have Active on your roster. You only gain points when that player is active in your roster, so previous and future points will not be allocated to your roster if you trade a player out or into your mix. Points will be allocated in the following manner: Goals = 2 Points, Assists = 1 Point. The Plus Minus of all your players is also tracked, but this value is used in the tie break situations, and has no point allocation.
The Expositor will begin running weekly ads to display a top listing of rankings, weekly prize winners, and player statistics to date, starting in November 2008. Check the newspaper for these updates as the prize awards will only be notified by this ad. There is no online notification of any prize awards. Be sure to read all the rules and regulations for further information.
Now get involved... study all the scouting reports, check the predictions in the newspaper and check out last years stats. Make sure you have all the right information to make your selections. If you enjoy the NHL or it’s just a part-time thing for you... then this is a great way to get involved and follow your team and favourite players through the season... never mind having a Great Chance to win some Fantastic Prizes!
